Mood: drooping
Listening to: Amber – Rattenfänger
Current obsession: Waiting for Mina
Sie nannten ihn den Rattenmann
Keiner wusste, woher er kam
und einen Namen nannte er nicht.
Ein Schatten lag auf seinem Gesicht…
Er schien der Retter aus großer Not
Scharen von Ratten brachten den Tod
Unzählige Fallen waren vergeblich gestellt.
Er bot Hilfe für ein wenig Geld.
„Eins und zwei – kommt herbei!
Drei und vier – tanzt mit mir!
Fünf, sechs, sieben – ich werd euch kriegen!
Acht, Neun, zehn – Ich will euch tanzen sehn!“
Yay, you won´t believe it…my new, faster internet speed has finally been activated by the Telekom. <_<;; With three days of delay, but I shouldn´t be surprised after all what we experienced with them during the last weeks. I would be happy about the speed, which is indeed VERY fast (downloaded 100MB in about 1 minute), but….another problem has occurred. That is, since we have this new speed rate, the internet has become instable and will stop every 20-30 minutes for a few minutes. It´s not a big catastrophe, but it´s quite annoying. -_-;; The Telekom promised to check this over the weekend…let´s see how long it will take this time to get a result.
Plus, my PC seems to be haunted or something. o_O;; I turned it on this morning and went to the bathrooms while it would be loading. But then I heard strange noises from my room and stepped out of the bathroom to see what was going on…really, it scared the hell out of me, I didn´t even touch the PC, but it played a melody. oO;;; Then I recognized the music… it was the starting theme of „The Sims 2“, and when I switched on the monitor I saw that the game seemed to have started all by itself!*squee* How could THAT be? My PC has a life of its own. o_o
Oh, yes, ANOTHER musical obsession came to me by accident. Because I wanted to test my new speed yesterday I loaded an medieval looking album called „Rabenflug“ by Amber. And, OMGEE, I´m totally in love with it! The style can be described as bard music or even minne lyrics. Not many, classic instruments like piano, flutes and fiddles…and very, very nice lyrics. I really like songs that tell a story…especially adaptions of old fairytales. <3 Those of you who are interested, you can have a listen into the CD HERE. My favorites are:
– „Ich vermisse dich“ God, that song is so sad, but very beautiful. ;_;
– „Rattenfänger“ Yaay, the Rattenfänger of Hameln was one of my favorite fairytales when I was a child. The song makes me wanna dance around~
– „Brüderlein, komm tanz mit mir!“ Err…a song about a relationship (Edit: LOL…my blog seems to have a censor function…he wouldn´t post my entry until I deleted the „i“ word…o_O) between brother and sister. But very nice to dance. <3
– „Lebensweg“ Just love. <3<3
– „Gesprengte Ketten“ My absolute FAVORITE on this album. Unfortunately, some of the lyrics are very hard to understand, so I didn´t choose it for the featured song here. But it´s a song that feels like hope and joy for life whenever I listen to it. <3
Geeeez, I defintely need to get the second album. <3
Mina will arrive in about an hour and will stay over the weekend until monday. <3 So I won´t be quite available that time…Wish you all a very good weekend! X3
